Saturn in cancer
This is one of the most dreaded and feared beliefs in Jyotish. It is believed that when Saturn visits the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from the house where Moon is situated in Your horoscope, the Sade Sati of Saturn is in effect. To simplify the concept if Moon is in Leo sign in your horoscope, when Saturn transits through Cancer, Leo and Virgo, you are Said to be under the effect of Sade Sati of Saturn and all kinds of tragic evenets may happen to You according to some propagated beliefs.And if Saturn is placed in Cancer, Leo or Virgo in your natal Horoscope when Moon is placed in Leo, you are said to be born in Sade Sati.

In traditional Vedic society one of the most important uses of astrology is to evaluate whether the charts of people who are planning to get married are in agreement to each other.
This is a subject about which a lot of confusion exists. Some traditional astrologers mainly look at the Kutas agreement. At first sight, this seems to be an extensive system, but in fact it is only based on how well the Nakshatra in which the Moon of one partner is placed fits with the Moon Nakshatra of the other partner. We will deal with this system later. However just looking at the Kutas agreement of the Moon is quite limited.

It is considered to be an auspicious house as it shows one’s fortune in the present lire as a result of past actions. Luck being closely linked to merit, every one will reap only the fruits or the acts dome in the previous birth. So a look at the ninth house would enable one to know what ‘bhagya’ (fortune and prosperity) one has accumulated as result of the meritorious deeds done in the previous birth.
